DAS Audio Appoints German Ramos as New Head of Engineering Department
DAS Audio is pleased to announce the appointment of German Ramos as the new Head of the Engineering Department. As Senior Advisor, German will lead the engineering team, bringing over 10 years of experience with DAS Audio and more than 20 years as a Professor and researcher at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). His exceptional expertise in digital audio and DSP systems will be instrumental in driving DAS Audio’s innovation.
Ramos has a distinguished career, including numerous publications, patents, and valuable contributions to the development of DSP systems and algorithms for active loudspeakers and processors. He has also worked as a senior programmer for DSP architectures like SHARC and SigmaDSP, and has done consultancy and project development for audio-related semiconductor companies. In addition to his consulting work, Ramos has been an instructor at Berklee College of Music’s Valencia campus, teaching Music Acoustics and technical seminars.
In his new role, Ramos will lead DAS Audio’s engineering team while CEO and CTO Javier Navarro focuses on global strategic planning and future product development. Navarro expressed:
