Battle Champs Celebrates Hip Hop’s 50th in Times Square with DAS Audio. It’s hard to think of a better setting to celebrate hip-hop’s 50th anniversary than the heart of its birthplace, the city that never sleeps. New York has been celebrating the genre’s half-century mark with an ongoing series of events, one of the biggest being the Battle Champs competition in Times Square, arranged by Beats, Rhymes and Relief and sponsored by Snipes, with powerful sound provided by DAS Audio.

Miami’s beloved Paris Theater has long ago left behind its checkered history, emerging as an iconic venue as timeless as its classic art deco design. Beginning life in the 1940s as a live theater and first-run movie house, the building and surrounding neighborhood endured some challenging times in the 1970s, re-emerging in the ‘90s as a music and video production studio, as well as a stunning photo op for artists including U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Madonna, Ricky Martin, and Jennifer Lopez.

TSL Production Invests in DAS Audio’s ARA Series
Pulheim-based TSL Production has made a significant investment in DAS Audio’s new ARA series. Consequently, just weeks after the new SARA model release, TSL is the first to have an arena-sized ARA system in Germany.
The company’s audio equipment inventory now includes 32 x SARA 2×8″/3″, 16 x SARA-SUB 1 x 18″/1×15″, and 16 x LARA-SUB 2×18″/1×18″, with a complete infrastructure.

NU Downtown is a new restaurant and nightclub located in the heart of the Hard Rock Hotel in Marbella, on the Costa del Sol in Spain. This sophisticated and elegant venue offers a complete entertainment experience, from delicious dining to electronic music and dancing. However, the design of the space presented a significant acoustic challenge that required the expertise of SPL Audiosistemas and DAS Audio to overcome.
