Los DX-80i son amplificadores con DSP que ofrecen las mismas potencias de salida que los DX-80. Admiten señal analógica, digital AES3 y opcional red de audio Dante.
Los DX-80i se pueden conectar en cualquier fuente y hacerla disponible en la red, así como procesar cuatro canales adicionales con salidas analógicas para su conexión con amplificadores de la serie DX sin DSP. Estas salidas auxiliares procesadas también se pueden alimentar de la red y ser utilizadas por amplificadores DX sin DSP que incorporen tarjetas Dante o por otros dispositivos conectados por Dante. Disponen de USB para la conexión con otros productos relacionados mediante control remoto o vía Ethernet con RS485.
